EUROPEAN SCIENCE NIGHT 2020
European Researchers’ Night in MU-Sofia, 2020
For à forth year, Molecular Medicine Center and Department of Medical Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Faculty of Medicine, MU-Sofia will host and organise the European Researchers’ Night at Medical University of Sofia with program and various events for young and adults.
The young scientists from MMC will presente the most advanced technologies for reading the secrets of our genes, as well as the possibilities to study simultaneously all changes in our genome, proteome and metabolome.
More than 100 visitors of all ages will enjoy the opportunity to visit and view virtually the most up-to-date scientific laboratories for genetic, metabolomic and cell research in Bulgaria.
Young scientists and PhD students will demonstrat the technologies for microarray analysis, next-generation sequencing, metabolic and metabolomic studies, tissue cultivation and in vitro studies.
At REFRESH Café “Biobanks - the best investment for our future” Prof. Kaneva, will introduce the audience to the role of biobanks for the development of science and personalized medicine, as well as the participation of the Medical University - Sofia and the Molecular Medicine Center in the European biobanking infrastructure - BBMRI-ERIC.
The European Researchers’ Night at MU - Sofia has become a tradition, an interesting and exciting experience for children and adults, who have come to the long and fascinating way of life science.
